I like your list!

My Colt XSE is sweet, but some might not like em'.

Let's add the Colt series 70 repro to the list for those that like the old school 1911s'.

How bout that?

It's funn how you only want one 1911 on the list yet you listed THREE Glocks.

If I had the choice they would al be 1911s. After all it is the gun that the cartridge was designed for...

1. Colt 1911 WWI repro.
2. Colt 70 Series repro.

Come to think of it, I only need to list two.

Glock 37 is the .357 SIG. I presume you meant the 36. I will defend your decision to nominate 3 Glocks base on the fact that one is full size, one is subcompact double stack, and one is a subcompact single stack. That being said, you should apply the same rules to 1911s and allow multiple 1911s if they are different size or capacity.

No way the current XD rates that high. It been out all of 6 months. Please.

Please no Colt, Les Baer, Wilson Combat, STI...

3 Glocks and only one 1911? You are wearing your basis is your sleeve.

I can agree with it except the Sig needs to be number 2. The only thing the Sig lacks is a high cap but it is a very refined gun and in my opinion the most accurate out of the box gun .45 under 1000 dollars. I'd give the USP for the capacity and it is just about as accurate, I don't like the sights as much though, perhaps thats why I shoot the Sig better.

My Sig is from 1989 and it's still the most accurate pistol I have. 15,000 rounds through it without a single malfunction.

In no particular order, all these are quality pistols that are excellent in their own respective ways.....

CZ 97

Glock 21

HK USP Tac/Mk 23

Any quality 1911 (Ed Brown, Wilson, Les Baer....)

Sig 220

S&W 4506

XD 45

Ruger P90/97/345

That's kinda it for me. Seems like a repeat of previous posters' top picks, but good guns can't be denied recognition.
