winchester mod 97 16ga value
I recently aquired this shotgun and had the serial # run. It was manufactured in the mid 1920's. It shoots great but the finish is worn but not redone. Finding ammo is a pain in the butt, I'm just wondering what the collector value is.

Around here, $300 up. Before you sell it, take it hunting. It carries easy, shoots hard.

Thanks
The gun is in great shape and the 16 is easy on the shoulder. Being from the south west it feels great to have a firearm that is significant to the region, and has a little bit of historical importance.
