Can I get input for pet loads for this powder with 55 gr. Bullets and LC brass. I'm using 20 inch 1-9 twist barrel. I'd like to use these for comparison as there is not a whole lot of published data on this powder.
Thanks Scratch |

I'm using 2200 exclusively now with my Bush Shorty carbine. I'm using 23gr. pushing 55gr. fmjbt. I'm getting good accuracy and no problems. I changed my gas rings to the McFarland one-piece ring, and that's reduced my groups a little and my ejected cases come out a lot cleaner, indicating that I'm getting a lot better gas seal.
I've read where others are going up to 23.5 gr., with no problems. ------------------ Shoot to kill; they'll stop when they're dead! |

Rick McDowell, @ Competition Specialties
515-342-2011. $1.75, delivered. I called Rick, he mailed me one of the rings, before he even got my check. Says he's never been ripped off by a gun person. If you buy three or more, the price is less. Mine works great. You just worm the helical ring (kind of like puttin a key on a keyring) on the gas-ring groove on your bolt. You'll notice that the bolt carrier is a little tighter when working the action. |
