One shot stop! For real!

Ok I heard on the news not sure where but the police shot an armed suspect that pulled a gun on them and the shot went down the barrel of the suspects gun ( a revolver) jamming it they showed a picture of it. Does anyone know more about this? I can not seem to find any details on it.

How could the guy have possibly been a threat with a gun like that? It is not high capacity, has no detatchable magazine, is not an "automatic", and it's not even evil black!!! Shame on them!

Kinda funny how they said that the police returned fire due to the threat. Now, to me, return fire means firing back after someone fired at you, or me. What it shoulda said was they opened fire on the guy. Anyways, the grammar thing asaid, that's a hell of a shot.
