Hi guys,I'am a newbe to these boards and am looking for some smokeless loads for a Winchester 1886(new model) and a Browning BPCR in 45-70,cast and jacketed.Really would appreciate any help. Thanks Al

Please see the posts I made on the .44 Mag and .45 Colt threads. They contain a general method of selecting data for loads for any caliber. If you have any specific questions after searching, please feel free to ask. Walt

Al. Get a copy of Ken Waters PET LOADS. He has extensive data for reloading the 45-70. The book comes in two volumes, and can be ordered through Wolfe Publishing. You can order by calling 1 800- 899-7810 Catalog # 5491 price $29.50. I picked this data up from an older copy of HANDLOADER magazine, but I think the numbers are correct.
