Valiant shotgun from Browning Patents?
OK, I have some antique shotguns. The only markngs I find are VALIANT and From Browning Patents. Any ideas?

No. These are high quality shotguns from the depression era as far as I can tell. Excellent wood, gold inlays in at least one and gold triggers. Upscale to say the least. I am ignorant as to the brand and whether they are cheap hardware store shotguns or reworked to a high level of finish. The marking, From Browning Patents is not one I have run across. They are better finished than a Crescent. I am surprised at how nice they are finished.
