beretta px4 storm cleaning question?

I am new to the shooting sport etc.....

I just picked up a beretta px4 storm and love it! This time my question(s) is about cleaning.

so far after each trip to the range I have cleaned it.

my cleaning process has been:
gun scrubber on all the parts
powder solvent on the barrel and some of the other dirty spots
oil on the springs and slide rails
light oil on the barrel

are there any tips for cleaning to make things easier/quicker?
what are some good cleaning products to clean the powder off with?
after how many rounds should I clean?

right now it bugs me to have a "dirty" gun after the range.

currently I have put almost 920 rounds through the gun with no failures.

thanks
for any input

Jim
