Uncle Mike's Holster for a 642

S&W 642 owners.

Those of you that use the Uncle Mike’s IWB holster which of the following do you use for your 642?

#0 2-3" inch barrel small/med double action revolvers except 2" 5-shot
or

#36 2-inch small frame 5-shot revolver with hammer spur (no hammer spur on the 642)

Thanks

Neither.

I use the # 3 for my 642.

BTW, it's not exactly the most durable pocket holster, and it allows for some tipping in larger pockets, but it also exactly fits in some jacket pockets where a larger one wouldn't.

I keep meaning to pick up another synthetic holster to try, since I carry my 642-1 in a lot of different conditions where I have yet to find a 1-size/type-pocket-holster-which-serves-all-needs ... and I've looked at a couple of others used by some of the other instructors, including a couple of Kramer pocket holsters.

Lots of selection out there for these little pocket guns.

Oops ...

Right you are. I sailed right past that.

Still can't be of any help, since the last IWB J-frame holster I owned was a Bianchi Pistol Pocket #3, and that was back when they were still fairly new. I have a couple of Don Hume & Blade-Tech OWB holsters for my J-frames & SP-101 DAO, but I don't often use them for my 642 or 649 Bodyguard.

However, if you browse amongst the J-frame related threads on this forum, THR, S&W Forums and GT (non-Glock firearms), I've seen quite a number of different holsters being recommended by owners of J-frames ...

The Uncle Mike's #36 is designed for the 642. I clip it to the front pocket of the pants I'm wearing while in the car to comply with Ohio's terrible "in plain sight" requirements. I have never worn it IWB as it is intended.
