I need some help! Im thinking of a gun/ cartridge combo similar in ballistics to the 224 boz. I thought a 45 win mag necked down to 6mm and shortened to feed through a 45 acp gun. Can anyone offer any ideas to help me out with this prodject. The gun I was planning to use was a Para-ord P-13
my ballistic program show a 60 grain spire point from a 5 inch barrel just breaking 2000fps which is close to the BOZ round HELP ANYONE??????????? |

A po'boy solution: Find some half-inch copper rod. Find somebody with a Unimat or better lathe.
Turn the rod to .451 or .452 and cut a 60-degree or 75-degree cone; cut off with enough straight side to seat in the .45 case. This roughly 110-grain bullet will come out of a .45ACP at around 2,000 to 2,200. , Art |
