Load for Grizzly 44 Mag SemiAuto
Anyone have any experience loading for the LAR Grizzly 44 Mag? Would like some suggestions for a good all around target load and a good load with H110. Will ge loading with a Dillon 550.
Thanks, Kevin |

44 load
I've loaded for the Desert eagle and had good luck with Hornady 240XTP and 20.0 grains of 2400.This seems to cycle well.

I also load for Desert Eagle, with H110 being my favorite powder. For 240gr. bullet weight, Hodgon manual states 23grains minimum, 24grains max of H110. The minimum cycled my DE just fine, but the most accurate charge I found is 23.3gr of H110 under the Hornady XTP/HP 240gr bullet.

What overall length do you use with the H110?
Thanks |

Ive loaded 22.0 grains of H110 behind the 240 Hornady HP/XTP, length set a shade under 1.610. The Grizzly jammed on every other shot, this gun is almost brand new and only fired a couple of dozen rounds. I have loaded up some rounds with the same load and made them 1.590 O.A.L. I havent fired these yet but am hoping a round a bit shorter may cycle better. It may also be that the gun just needs to be shot a bit more to smooth things out.
Thanks, Kevin |

First, I would get the charge up to the minimum 23gr of H110. And I'm not sure about the OAL for the Griz, but my DE likes them at about 1.590 inches. The longer 1.6 tries to hang in the mag. I'll bet you'll have better luck with the shorter ones too.
