Stevens Model 15.

Hi,
Great Site !!
I have a Springfield Stevens Model 15. 22 short,long or long rifle.
There is no serial number. There is a 14 in a circle right below the rear site. So I really do not have any idea how old it is. ( I found it behind my grandmothers freezer in the basement after she passed away, it was loaded. )
I have fired it and it works fine.
I thought I would give it a good cleaning.
It looks to be pretty simple to takedown, Not many parts to it.
Do you know of any sites that have take-down illustrations for this gun ?
Or any advice on this model gun.
Thanks,
Phil

The Springfield M15 was my first rifle at the age of 12.
Try the following link for a parts diagram, etc.

Hi,
Thanks for the link to the Numrich site.
I had forgot about them having schematics.
I bet it is beautiful out where you live. I was at Ft. lewis for about 4 years back in the early 60's. Just loved it out there. beautiful year around !
Thanks,
phil
