colt 22 unit

Have a colt 22 conversion unit made in the 70"s. Can it be used on a series 80 frame if i remove the series 80 parts from the frame?

Harold, in a word, yes. I have one customer with a Cienner and one with a Wilson (I think) and both or on series 80 frames. George
