54 cal. ? what year?

I just bought a cva 54 cal. from a friend that had bought it a few years ago from a friend of his. I can not find any info (date it was made) on the gun from cva and wounder if any of yal might know. It is a 54 cal timber ridge traditions that uses the #11 cab. It has the pine ridge scope still on it. I would like to turn it in to a 209 primer. And also like to know how much $ the gun was bran new. The gun shoots great for not being shoot for some years now. So if any one can tell me when cva stop making this gun please let me know. If it helps the last # in the ser# are 98.
