Factory load data

Was wondering if factory load data was published by any of the manufacturers or if anyone had an idea of the make ups (close to) for any Factory Loaded ammo on the retail market?. For example..... winchester produce 55gr SP in 223REM (what is the powder charge and type?).

I have my own reciepes that i've tried and tested, but the other day down at the range i found that i produced a 5 shot group of WIN factory load at less than 0.3". I haven't been able to achieve anything like this on my own loads precision wise, but find that i'll consistantly shoot under 1" with this factory ammo. PMC also shoots well in my REM700 VSSF with an average 0.75" at 100yrds (5 shot group).

Reason why i would like the data.... well to see if i can more accuratly reproduce the factory loads that the manufacturer produces.

In many cases the powder that the manufacturers use (called keg powders) are not available to the handloader. About the best you can do is to chrono the loads and try to match the speed and deviations as closely as possible. If your rifle likes the factory loading - and yours seems to - I would use it for serious work and use your closest handload for practice.

Not to my knowledge.
