How to Remove Stains from Hard Chromed finish on cabon steel?

This is my Browning HiPower with factory hard chrome finish. The problem is that there's some sort of stain on the hard chrome that I cannot wipe off. It is not very visible in photo or in person, but if I look at it very closely, it's there, while other areas are stainfree. the stain is a very slight yellow outline, I have no idea how they came to be.

Does anyone know more about this? or how to remove it? Thanks in advance.

If new send it back to factory
