Caliber of your primary CCW?
I realize there is variation depending on conditions, but I'd go with the caliber used the majority of the time.

It would have to be a pretty resourceful (and impervious to recoil) person to carry 45-70 as a CCW. Do you mean .45 LC?

.45.
Followed by 9x18U. Followed by 9mmL, followed by .380, followed by 9x18M(my kid's guns, hardly carry them now because of that). |

That is weird: no .40 S&W! I like .357 Sig as well and it's not there either.
But my primary CCW is a .44 Special. Not on the list! Gregg |

124gr Hydrashocks... I used to carry Magsafe, but those are too costly. |

I put in my vote for 9mm, though I carry the curiously absent .40 S&W just as much.

I also carry the .40 just as much as the .357 I voted for...
This poll's gonna definatley be skewed without it being listed as an option.

nope, meant the 45-70 conversion revolver
Of course, I would never carry a cannon like that. I live in NJ, we don't get to use much more than harsh words and fleet feet.

Thought about a .40
I thought about a .40 cal but since its not on the poll, I guess nobody uses it. So then I guess ammunition isn't even made for it anymore, and if I find it I will probably go broke buying it. That .40 cal is so '90's. I just heard of a new caliber that just came out, like yesterday. I think it was the hmmm, hmmm oh yeah it was the 45acp. Wow I can't believe that was on the list, never heard of it before.

.32 H&R too.
There's wayyyy too many calibers to list everything, really... I'm sure some people carry .22magnums. Someone else may very well still toss around a .38S&W or a .32 S&W long. Someone else already brought up the 9x18 calibers (ultra and makarov). There are the new .25naa and .32naa cartridges. I remember reading someone who used to pocket a beretta .22 SHORT, which is kind of futile in my mind but hey, it's funtional. A few people talk about .36 black powder. .41 magnum, I've considered. This stuff's been around a long time, you've got to be a walking encyclopaedia to remember it all, and there are enough people carrying nowadays that just about anything's possible

Man, I can't believe you left off the 40
. I carry the 40 daily. and you will hear many more people say "Where's 40?" Ive never run into a 44mag CCW person. I'm sure there out there just not in the numbers that 40 is.

Apologies on the list of choices. I only had 10 possible poll options. I should have listed .40 S&W on there, an oversight on my part.
