As you know Clayton Moore died on Tuesday at age 85. Having played the Lone Ranger on the TV Series. I watched that show as a kid. It was one of my favorites as he and Tonto battled injustice seemingly by themselves. As this was a cowboy page, I felt where better to discuss our memories of the man, the show and the Lone Ranger. I have a picture of myself, 7 or 8 years old wearing a Lone Ranger costume for Halloween. This was an early TV show where his Indian friend was treated with respect. Unusual for TV then as most Indians were shot off the horse.

AMC is going to air 2 Lone Ranger movies on Monday. No details as to the titles. Starting time is 11:30AM. I'm going to be sure to set the VCR.
