Are there any good aftermarket trigger groups for the 870 shotgun?

eBay. Take off Remington trigger groups from $10 to $25.

A couple of years ago Brownell's was selling an 870 after market trigger group with a fully adjustable trigger.

This was mostly for the people shooting slugs at very long ranges, where a good rifle-quality trigger would be useful.

I can't remember who made it, but it was a steel unit, and cost BIG bucks.

If you're interested, contact Brownell's to see if they still have it or can put you in contact with the maker.

Just for the record, the steel 870 trigger group was made by Allen Timney. I don't think he makes it anymore, I no longer see it on his website
Allen Timney
It's not the same outfit as Timney Triggers, though I suspect there's a relation somewhere

Mucho obligado, kmca. Brain fart...cut and pasted the wrong URL. You got the right link to Allen Timney, and he does still make the all-steel group, which I note costs as much as a new 870 express.
