Club/ Range/Competition Wanted

I am a Deputy Sheriff near Birmingham, AL, and I am interested in finding some type club or competition to get start shooting in. Is there anyone in this area that can provide some direction for me?

I shoot IDPA at Steel City in Hoover on the Second Saturday morning of each month.

They also have a "Practical" match with their own local procedures and rules on the Fourth Saturday.

You can get into IPSC/USPSA at the FOP Range in Pleasant Grove.

Heritage shoots both, and 3-Gun, too.

All will make you welcome and see that you have a safe enjoyable time.
Most of these outfits will let you shoot in your duty gear.
