HSB & Co. Model W

Hello everyone, I am just wondering if anyone knows anything about this gun? It's my father's and he sent me on a mission to find out some info and maybe what it could be worth but all the info he gave me on it was "HSB & Co Model W Chicago". If you need more than that I could probably get a bit more but can anyone tell me anything based just on that? Thanks so much for your time!

HSB & Co. is an abbreviation for Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Company of Chicago, Illinois. They distributed private-label arms from various makers. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you more.

You might take this information, together with the model, gauge, barrel length, and configuration (single-shot, side-by-side, over/under, pump, or semi-automatic) to Harley Nolden at his Forum here on TFL. Perhaps he can provide you with the rest of the story on your heirloom

Hope this helps.

Good luck, and good shooting!
