Looking for your Suggested load for 9mm Lugar 124 remington Golden sabers

Suggested load for 9mm Lugar 124 remington Golden sabers

I am looking for you suggestions for a non +P load, but still up there in velocity for a 9mm lugar with a 124 grain Remington Golden Saber.

Thanks in advance for the information.

9mm carry ammo/practice round

CAUTION: The following post may include loading data beyond currently published maximums for this cartridge. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Neither the writer, TFL/THR, nor the staff of TFL/THR assume any liability for any damage or injury resulting from use of this information.

This has become both my practice load and my carry load for my Colt Pocket Nine and BHP because of it's accuracy and 100%dependability.

4.2 gr. Titegroup FC/Win.case WSprimer OAL 1.085" Approx.1100 fps+.

Before I switched to Titegroup,Bullseye served me well as:

4.4 gr. Bullseye FC/Win.case WSP OAL 1.085" Approx.1100 fps+

I switched to Titegroup because it seems to be slightly cleaner burning and the larger flake seems better in my powder measure.

Published muzzle velocity for the standard 9mm Golden saber 124's from Remington is right around 1100 fps as they make 'em, so go for that velocity and adjust accordingly.

Remington factory ammo

Here's some stuff on 'em over on Handloads.com that might help:

Your search for 'golden saber 9mm' has found 9 results

Another search with different results

As well as their loads database here:

9mm at 124 gr.

And lookie, I even found some of my chrono results:

Thanks and more follow on questions

Looking over the hornady guide, tks for posting I have decided to go with AA7 for the Hornady FMJ FP ENC which I have to load.

This manual lists the OAL for this bullet at 1.050 and the Jacket Hollowpoinf at 1.060.

Does this seem short to those of you who are shooting a similar combination?

If so for these two types of bullets what are you seating at OAL?
