.44 Mag 200gr Hp-xtp 296 Load
I'm looking for a load range for the .44 Mag. using 200gr. Hornady Hp-xtp bullets and Win 296 powder. I understand that 296 and H110 are made at the same factory. My "One load" load book shows H 110 from 25.8gr-28.7gr. Any suggestions?

I use 28 gr of 296 and it is HOT. I also fire it out of an early Dan Wesson that is a heavy sturdy revolver.

yes
Start low and work up slow.
W296 and H110 can act different.
