Pedersoli Longarms

Anyone have experience with Pedersoli's Brown Bess Carbine or their Indian Trade Rifle?

Nope.

Not with those particular models, but I have used several of their Civil War era reproductions with great success.
They all seemed to be decent quality and well-constructed. Several people consider them one of the industry leaders regarding reproduction firearms. I am sure you will not be dissappointed.

I don't know anyone who owns one that is a recent purchase, but functionally they have been inconsistent over the years. Some of the Brown Bess and derivative muskets have been received with very soft frizzens (technically, the "hammer"; what we call the hammer is the cock) and some have had problems with springs. Others have been great. There is some element of luck of the draw with these muskets.
