tc contender
i was wondering if anyone has a good way to bench test a contender or encore.Ive tried a sand bag under the butt it seems to cause flyers.any help appericiated

I have used a sandbag under the butt of my Contender for years and have always managed to get good results. This is the set-up I use.

My best results have come from shooting prone with just the forend on a bag, letting my elbows become the rear resting point. FYI, this is VERY hard on elbow skin if you are shooting a hard kicker barrel, a shooting mat or cardboard under the elbows will go a long way toward minimizing the bleeding.
