Are they the same thing with a different badge?

Looking at this:
EOTech 502
and comparing it with this:
Bushnell 51-0021
they look pretty much identical.

Are they the same? Or just very similar interpretations of the same idea.

And which is better?

Really I think they are the same? Probably, one company makes 'em
for the other.
