Reviews for Star Model BM

Does anyone have any info on the Spanish Star Model BM? Freind is looking at one as a first semi/ GP carry gun? Any thoughts on this? Yes, Yes, we know, just buy a 1911

38splfan, I rate a Star BM as a best buy. It is heavier than a Walther PP but not much bigger. You just can't beat a BM at the current give away prices. This is my BM that was hard chromed and wears Hakan grips. Regards, Richard

Thanks guys.

A freind of mine is looking at it for a GP handgun plinking/target/carry. Looks like his mind is made up but asked for some research on his behalf. Seems to be a good buy, maybe I'll save my pennies too.......
