Quick dumb question
I bought some Hornady .270 dies on an impulse purchase recently, but before I open the package - they will work in my Dillon RL450, with appropriate doo-dads from Dillon, right? I'm 99% sure, but wanted to check...

Yep!
I believe all the current production reloading dies are standarding to 7/8-14 (?) I havn't seen the smaller diameter in years, was it Pacific?

Should. The thread is standard as has been said. There were some compatibility issues with Dillon presses and Lee dies years ago, but Lee has made the threaded portion longer in their current dies. Never heard of any problems with Hornady's.
