RCBS 5-0-5 Scale
Does anyone have the instructional manual for the RCBS 5-0-5 scale? Or does anyone use this scale? Here's the issue: The scale that I have does not have an instructional manual; therefore, I'm haveing a difficult time adjust/determining the proper weight. It has a knob on the bottom that you turn to adjust the scale but I'm not sure exactly how to set it.

505 scale
Going from memory, I haven't used one of those in years. you set the counter balance weights to zero weight, then use the knob to adjust for a zero indication.

Used mine today. Twice.
Exactly; zero the sliders on the beam, then rotate the rear leg until the pointer zeroes.
Or, use a scale weight check set (I use a Lyman set), set your check weights in the pan, and zero to that specific weight. The only 505's in THIS house are from RCBS.

Bandit, let me know if you need more precise instructions and I will give them to you in detail as in the manual.

Don't forget to zero with the pan in place!
