I'd like it better if it was gas operated and used the recoil system of the m-16 and was pump assist

It has some interesting benefits, actually.
the straight line stock reduces muzzle jump, the sights are quickly adjustable for range for longer range use with slugs, and there's at least a little familiarity with the M-16 series. however, it's still a tube fed pumpgun, which the m-16 is not. you'll take some training to switch between the two. |

Pretty tricky.
Probably perform bout as well as an old Higgins in the hands of a shooter. (If the FN is in the hands of a shooter.) Sam |

A burrahobbit is a hobbit who initially desribes himself as a burgler, but stops himself midway and says hes a hobbit. (as in the tolkien book "The Hobbit" when he is caught stealing.)

Burra, it could be either. Like Andrew said, straight line recoil is easier to handle. I'd want a little less LOP for a "Serious" shotgun than 13 1/2".
At best, a nice to have rather than a must have. Sam, Amen, heh,heh,heh.... |

well, since this shotty uses Ar-15 stocks and pistolgrips, you could put one of those RRA entry stocks on it for a much shorter length of pull.
I'd like it if FN sold range drums calibrated for the various brands of shotgun slugs. |
