How about a REAL "general discussion" forum?
I humbly submit my request to the moderators on Mount TFL for a non-firearms related general forum. Of course topics such as religion, abortion, etc. will not be allowed. However, I think it would be nice for us to have a place to discuss movies, cars, other hobbies, without fear of being "OT."
Anyone else?? |

The Firing Line.
The leading online forum for firearms entheusiasts. For needlepoint and nelph testing, there are many other forums. Sam |

I propose we have a discussion forum for discussions about having an 'off topic' general discussion forum.
(no offense intended, drjones. Just this suggestion seems to come up quite a bit) |

Maybe its because we like each other here and don't like crapping in the neighbor's yards?

I would like to see it too, similar to the non-Glocking forumat Glocktalk. I like to hang out at non-Glocking because I get to read about all kinds of things that people like me are interested in, including current events that are not gun related.

I used to visit the Taunton Press "Fine Homebuilding" forums, and their "Woodshed Tavern" was pretty successful. Just come in, pull up a stool, buy a round for the house, and let nature take its course. You can imagine some of the discussions that ensued.
