As opposed to a wannabe Russian factory?

I've seen LVE 59gr FMJ 5.45x39 sell as low as $90/1000.
Some of the commercialized stuff you see marketed these days are made by the same folks that pumped out the military stuff in the good 'ol Reagan days.

Cheygriz,

That would be 5.56x45, right?

I think he's asking about the Soviet 5.45x39... (again, I think).

Snowdog,

Negative, my friend. That was 5.45X39 Russian for a SAR2.

I paid about $110 shipped not too long ago. Just Wolf 60 gr hollowpoints, not sure exactly what you're asking with a "original russian factory"...

Cheygriz, according to the box the Wolf HP is 60gr, thought I had read something elsewhere about 62 grain as well though...

That's what threw me, the weight. However, knowing the little I know of the Russians, they are industrious 'lil buggers... I wouldn't doubt if they threw in a 62gr 5.45x39 as well just for marketing variety.

Thanks.

Sorry, Guys. My mistake. The Wolf 5.45X39 hollow points are indeed 60 grains, not 62. I guess that I was having a brain fart!
