.32 mag & iron targets.
Has anybody yet found out, first-hand or otherwise, if the Vaquerito can knock down iron targets with reasonable loads? Considering placing one of these at the top of my wish list and was wondering.

Ed, I have the 32 in the Ruger with the Birdshead grip. In fact I have two. Out of the box they were shooters. I plink at 10 to 15 yards using the Hornady 90 grain swc with 3.8 grains of Herco.I use the Hornady 85 grain XTP with a load I worked up to match factory specs.

A cowchick on my posse yesterday was shooting RV .32s. I don't know the load, but you could barely hear them ring the plates.
If you load them up, they are close to .32-20 and ought to do ok. |
