T/C FireStorm scope mount?
Has any one tried mounting a scope to the Fire Storm flintlock? While traditionalists will probably gasp in disgust, I'm looking for opinions on what kind of groups you got with a scoped model. Thanks.

I take it that you have a Firestorm? I believe the mounts for a New Englander or a Grey Hawk will work.
How does their new 209 primer sidelock work? I wish I could get a conversion for my Grey Hawk to shoot 209's from the sidelock.

I don't have one yet but I'm thinking about getting one.
And as far as I know, it's a regular flintlock. steve |

Ah, you're getting the flinter model!
I'd like one of those in stainless, but I'm afraid that they'll do what T/C does with about 60% of their models-discontinue selling parts for it. I've heard rumors about problems with the life of the frizzen on the stainless model as well. I may just get a Lyman great plains as a starter. |
