Just back from gun show with new toy

I just bought a fun little toy.Its an FIE mod 722 22 lr. Its bolt action clip fed with a 5 round and a 10 round clip. 10 inch barrel adjustable target sites with a peep front site and ready for a scope. Unreal wood on it and is about 95%. Adjustable trigger. I know it was only made for 1 year and I know FIE went bankrupt. Was this a target gun or what was it built for? Any one have one or know where I can get the 411 on it on the web? I have already shot it at 25 yds. and it is a tack driver. Any information would sure help.
