Coronado Leather Concealment Jackets
Back in March we did a group order and a number of our TFL members got some very nice leather jackets. These jackets have built in holster pocket that allow easy concealed carry.
Fall will be upon us in a couple months... Jacket weather. Anyone interested in putting together another group order? I can get a group price deal like I did last time. Of course, the fellas that ordered them last time are looking forward to wearing them soon... finally. A lot of guys had to pass it up. Maybe this time around they can get one too. http://www.madogre.com/Interviews/leather.htm For ordering information and such. The prices will be better for a group order than what is listed... a lot better. But that depends on how many people want one. Any one interested?

George, I am again interested. Could I get a pic of how the logo worked out on the coat? Also, was the back embroidered or just the left breast?

My $0.02
This is absolutley the coolest jacket I have ever owned it is really awesome. In addition to fall coming up I am going to be old enough for a CCW so I can use the pocket for more than smuggling beer bottles past the bouncer at the door. Note: While wearing the jacket this year I won't be passing any bouncers so don't worry. Also we didn't get logos on them. |

No logos. They were just plain too expensive. The option was we would look into getting custom patches made... and these could be afixed to the jackets later.
We still wont do logos and we still want to do the patches - so you can sew them onto your other jackets or whatever. These leather jackets are simply the finest available... AND as a BONUS... they have concealment holster pockets inside that can hide most any handgun. One on each side for you John Woo fans.

I'd be more interested in one of their vests, than in a jacket...

I am most definently interested. Will they all be a single style, or do we get to choose?

Well folks, I wore mine some before it got unbearably hot. My first day with it I wandered off to the cinema porting a 1911, a BHP, and a Kahr MK40 with spare mags for all, just to say I can do it. And you can, completely undetected.
The little gun was ankle carried, but the two big ones disappeared into that jacket. I might buy another one in a different style! Gotta get one, especially at George's special prices.

A buddy of mine uses the vest for his CHL; his go-bang is at least Commander-sized...

... thanx Art ...
... that Touring Zip Vest sure looks solid and well done ... so does all the other stuff, for that matter ... ... still wondering how they do that strap-fixing-holster-balancing-thingy ... somehow I'm worried , that with a stone heavy CZ in it, I'm gonna look like a bus hit me from the side ...

I'd be interested, but I prefer belt carry, rather than shoulder holster type carry. Where specifically is the holster pocket in these jackets?

The entry to the pockets is vertical, one on either side of the zipper. The entries are about 8" tall and snap open and shut with a single brass snap.
The pocket is very deep and wide and has a nylon strap inside near the bottom to hold your gun in an upright position, pointing in about the same direction as hip carry, down and to the rear. I really love mine. An officer-sized 1911 absolutely disappears and the mags on the other side keep it balanced. I got one of the bomber models. I wanted one in a tall size and got to speak to the factory directly. They had a custom-made coat that hadn't been paid for or something. It sounded like exactly what I wanted and they let me have it for the regular price even though (1) it was a custom size and (2) the leather was one of the high grade types. Very cool all the way around. |

So far I count:
AmericanFreeBird wakal KMKeller Steve Smith LetsFetz Art Eatman Papercut KenPaul critter44 If you guys are seriously up to ordering - that's enough to roll with. But since we lose a few during the ordering, lets see if there is a couple more guys out there. And start the process on Monday. Yes, you guys can pick any style of jacket you want. We limited the styles last time to make things easier, but I guys it doesnt matter. You can also go for the vests if you like, and even the bags. However with the bags and such, I'm not sure how that discount will work out... so lets see what you guys want ordered and what I can put together.price wise. Last time, the discounts were very deep. They will be again. But opening it up to different items, I can't just throw out the numbers yet. The bags have holster size requirements... and if anyone says they want that day planner holster thing - Drop and Gimme 50 Pushups! NO OFF BODY CARRY! That's a bad idea. I'll still do the order for it - but you have to do some pushups! I've only handled and tried on a few of the jackets... the Bombers, the Americana, and the "Classic Jeans" VERY NICE jackets all of them. I wore a pair of Government models in the bomber and no - you could not tell I was packing heat. I could feel the weight of the guns, but it was still comfortable and they hung well. You could pack the guns around like that all day, every day... Until it got too hot to wear a jacket that is. If it does get too hot - you could go with a vest. I like the look of the Safari vest, but I've not seen one in person.
