I think Surefire is the most over rated, over hyped product in America, and certainly the most overpriced.

I like the Streamlight Scorpions better. That rubber covered barrel is easy on the teeth when you need two hands. They are just as bright and about half the money.

I is my personal experience that a good light in the hands of trained person can make the difference between life and death.

I treasure my Centurion flashlight and care to bring it with me all the time. It´s very handy and serves a number of tasks other than a gunfight. (your car [flat tire] broken at 2:00 am or to scan a dark alley/parking lot)

I do not think this product is overpriced...It´s excelence you are paying for...

Just my 2 cents.

I have the Surefire G2, much brighter than my 6cell maglite and about a tenth the size. A wonderful product for $50.00

This is Surefire's website if you want to see what Surefire says directly. However, the site Ken linked to has better prices.

This is Streamlight's home page.
