If ANY of these people are your rep, (or you live in their state), write, call, or fax them ASAP. We have the ability to make sure this thing doesn't see the light of day (particularly if we make our voice heard right now...during an election cycle).

Contact info can be found at... www.house.gov/house/MemberWWW.html

If it passes we only have ourselves to blame.

Thanks for keeping this issue on the front burner here. It's not getting much play, and didn't even generate much enthusiasm when it was brought up on a thread on FreeRepublic.

Unfortunately, it looks like a lot of people don't care about this issue because it doesn't directly affect them (most people don't have wildcat or obsolete cartridges they need to order, and don't order in bulk like many of us do).

It's thinking I've found all too typical among gun owners (the ones here not included of course).

Folks your going to need to fax or call those reps.
Many of the e-mails are not responded to because your reps get so many. Some of the reps even have e-mail disclaimers on their websites that mention this.
You can't let this bill succeed. Please contact your reps.

Find your reps here:

Hopefully, I can get this on the VA-Alert email for this Friday. Normally quite effective, but not used much for federal issues.

Cross your fingers...

And where's the NRA in all this? More concerned that they can't throw my money at a representative's campaign than where we will buy our ammo, that's where.

I am getting a C&R FFL so even if this goes through I'll still be able to buy cases of ammo shipped through UPS with my license, right?
