For anyone who missed it, the March issue of The American Rifleman had a several page review of the new offerings in slugs from various manufacturers. Some were sub-caliber sabot-type.

Thanks, Erick. IMO, there's no bad slugs out there for deer sized game,the trick is finding one that works best with you and your weapon.

Even I hate the idea of benchtesting and zeroing for slugs. BUT, it's needed for good and humane hunting,and for those of us who can use slugs for HD, it may be a lifesaver.

So,everybody, bench those guns and check for the best slug for you. Take anti inflammatories first,use all the little tricks for beating recoil and go for it...
