Comps on Hi Standard..

Anyone actually USE the screw on comp that comes with the ol Hi Standard auto .22?
Only thing I notice is it gunks up fast and puts carbon all over the muzzle.

My opinion too. The only use I ever got out of mine was the increase in value by having a complete outfit with brake and weights when I sold it. My shooter HS doesn't have one and I don't miss it.
