Folder for Mossberg .410

I have a disabled friend who is in need of a folding stock for a Mossberg model 500 .410. I can find them for the 12/20 gauge but not the .410. The lady at Mossberg told me that folding stocks were illegal. (I won't go into the conversation she and I had regarding that statement.)
Choate doesn't make one either.
