Disassembly of Savage 110 Bolt
Okay - It's two 110s and a 12, but shouldn't me much different...
I'm used to pulling the firing pin assembly from my Panda's bolt (Kleindorst tool) to adjust my sizing dies for minimal headspace resizing (just "feeling" the case in the chamber when the bolt is closed), and I'd like to do the same with my Savages... I've got three Savages, and two have hex screws in the back, and one a "regular" screw. Tried a big-bleep hex wrench, and thought I'd strain myself - the sucker didn't even budge... Any suggestions? Or can't one do this sorta thing with the Savage?

Hi, George and Bogie,
George, I am sure he will appreciate your help. I started to reply on this one and then decided that disassembling a Model 110 bolt is a lot like another type of human activity, you can either do it or you can't. And if you can't, it is da*n near impossible to give instructions. Jim
