JM ,

One possibility is M-85 and/or its iterations (1934 to1946) in '47
that changed to M-185 yadayada. through '58 . Mossberg also
made an M-285 for New Haven from '59 to '68 .

Courtesy of "Gun Parts -Chronology of Mossberg Firearms" ; no
parts list/exploded view was found during quick search .

All the Western Field guns I have seen and had displayed a model number. That Western Field model number can usually be used to find the actual contractor's equivalent model number.

I found another Mossberg 20 ga bolt-action repeater ; it is magazine fed and apparently came with a PolyChoke .

Mossberg M-390KA, 490, 490A, 485, 485B & 485KA ; Western Auto M-325B, 325BK, 316(K), & 312A ; Montgomery Ward M-160,
173, & 175 .

Hope you can find the needle , Hawkaaa53
