my first shot gun!! (actully 2nd)

I got a new 870 police magnum today, excited as hell to shoot it, wondering if the 450 i paid was too much for a genuine police model NIB.

It's on the high end of prices, but not a swindle,Grant.

A smith recently told me his WEG on use life for a new 870 that was well maintained and used with heavy loads was around 100 K rounds. Break it down on a cost per round basis,it's a real deal(G)...

BTW, he also told me that in over 30 years of smithing, he'd seen a mere handful of probs not neglect and abuse related. A couple of firing pins, an ejector....
