I assume you know how the Saiga 7.62x39 hunting rifles are converted into AK-103 assault rifles......so heres my question couldnt the same thing be done to the saiga 12ga shotguns to make them a russian 12k assault shotgun?.........I was just wondering, but it sounds possible

What's a Russian 12k assault shotgun?

Isn't it just the same Saiga as that sold here, but with pistol grip, shorter barrel and possibly elongated magazine?

It is possible to do but in violation of US Federal law unless you are law enforcement.

Yeah Meowhead...thats the Saiga 12k but the difference is that the trigger group on the civil 12ga is positioned at the rear end of the reciever so in order to make it the assault 12K that the russians use, a gunsmith would have to move the trigger group.....

Darn.....thanks for the input benjamin............the law is weird like that, its legal to do it to Saiga hunting rifles, but you cant do it the shotguns.........man thats a bummer and it makes no sense

Ah well at least I know now thanks again Molon labe!
