338 wildcats
Out of simple curiousity:
Is there a 338 '06 ackley improved wild cat? I thought an efficient, shoulder headspacing 338 might be useful. |

.338/06 been around since the late 50s. Sort of an off shoot of the 333 OKH.
Couple of extremes in both directions...... .338-223......223 necked up to nearly straight.....no power. .338-50 Talbot......50BMG necked down to .338...no barrel life. .338 Lapua works. Needs room for the big case tho. Sam |
