No more M3 Convertibles after 12/31?

Today the local GS told me that M3 imports are to be halted this year.

Anyone have any info on this? Seems like the prices will rise if it's true...

Benelli shotgun - semi-auto/pump action, as opposed to the M1, which is strictly semi auto.

I like the versatility of the M3 system, but wonder about the extra weight (about 1 lb). Also, are screw in chokes available?

Benelli makes a hunting (smooth bore) barrel (with rib) specifically for the M3 (i.e., the M1 barrels won't fit). It's 24" or 26", I think, and takes the regular screw-in chokes.

Benelli USA has told me there are NO plans to halt importation of this weapon.

Another example of bad info from a greedy dealer? Or just misinfomation...

The folding stock M3 is not a class 3 item. It's just expensive due to limited numbers being in country when the feeding frenzies hit.
