If you had to choose only 1 in each of these calibers what would be your choice?

Auto's
1. CZ 75 2. HK USP 3. 1911 4. Tanfolio Witness-Hunter Revolver's 1. Ruger GP100 2. S&W Stealth Hunter or Ruger SBH Bisley Hunter I can't decide between a DA/SA or S/A revolver. If you would have added a .45 Colt category, you could have really helped me out here. |

Ok....( but don't tell my wife, I'd settle for one gun per caliber )...geez....
Semi-autos: 9mm...........Wilson Combat 1911, 5", Protector Model, all stainless 40 S&W.......Sig X-Five, L-1 model..(I had a Protector model in .40 & sold it) .45 acp .......Wilson Combat 1911, 5", another Protector model 10mm..........Wilson Combat 1911, 5", and still another Protector model (but I don't want a 10mm...??)... ( I like Wilson's 5" guns - and Protector models - in all stainless have been very good guns for me/ambi safety, mag well, full length guide rods, 1" guarantee, Bullet Proof parts upgrades,...) Revolvers... .357 Mag...S&W model 27-2 in 4" Nickel .44 Mag.....S&W model 29-2 in a 6 1/2" Nickel Last edited by BigJimP; March 26, 2014 at 06:37 PM. |

For 9mm I'd take my BHP but there's 1/2 dozen others I could be content with.
40s&w still don't want one would rather have another 9mm or a snub 38. 45 acp would be some flavor of 1911 maybe my lightweight Govt since I'm gonna take my DW PM7 as my 10mm. For 357 if you let me trade 40 for a pocket gun I'd take my 686SSR if not it'd force me to make my 357 a 5 shot snub, so I guess I'd take a LCR. For the 44 I want my custom 4" Redhawk

1 9mm : A DWM Luger P-08 2 .40 S&W : Not familiar with any .40 S&Ws 3 45 acp : Colt M1911A1 US marked 4 10 mm : Colt Government Model Revolvers 1 .357 magnum : Colt Python 2 .44 magnum : Ruger Super Blackhawk Then I'd trade the Luger for a Colt Single Action Army in .45 Colt. The 10mm Colt for a Colt New Frontier in .45 Colt. The Python would go for maybe two more New Frontiers, one of which would be a .357 Magnum. And the M1911A1 would maybe bring two Ruger Flat Top .44 Specials. That's what I'd do. Bob Wright |

1---
2----- 1911 for all 3 3--- 357 S&W because the internals are simple to work on compared to the GP-100's internals. Same reason I chose the 1911. Simple to work on.

1 9mm - Luger P.08 2 .40 S&W - none. don't have a .40, don't need a .40, don't want a .40 3 45 acp - Colt Govt Model, pre-series 70 4 10 mm - same as the .40 Revolvers 1 .357 magnum - S&W M28-2 6" 2 .44 magnum - S&W M29-2 6.5" These choices are from the guns I already have, not what I might wish to have someday., And I personally have no interest in the .40S&W or the 10mm, as I have other calibers that fully cover anything they might do.
