R3 recoil pad - AWESOME!

Shot my new Rem 700 .30-06 with R3 recoil pad today and was shocked to feel how little recoil there was. Probably the nicest pad I have ever felt on a gun!

Shot about 40 catridges today and my shoulder can't tell.

I have shot 2 other .30-06's this year and they can kick!

It feels like shooting small caliber

(P.S. I was using Win Super X 150grn. soft point bullets. Same stuff I used in the other .30-06's)

Oh, and just so you guys know, you can pick these up online at stores like bass pro for around $30.. (Comes stock on some new Rem firearms) Money well spent IMO.

The R3 pad is made by Limbsaver and they work very well. There have been many posts about the pads on this forum. It's a good feeling when something works as well as it should.

How is it compared to a pachmyr decelerator? I fitted one to my Marlin 1895 Cowboy, and the difference was amazing, but it took me about 2 hrs to get the pad cut to the gun. If this is quicker, I'm definitely in
