Pistol Grip
has anyone tried the pistol grip for hunting ?
Like the Remmington R25, pistol grip. |

The pistol grip for hunting is not my first choice. It is hard to throw it hard enough with accuracy to hit your target if further than 10 feet and the terminal ballistics are terrible. The rubber over moulded hogue grips are even worse!
All joking aside, rifles and shotguns with pistol grips have been used for years for hunting. I don't think I understand your question well enough to answer your concerns. |

Lmao at Oryx. Pistol grips are more personal preference in my opinion. Some rifles you don't get a preference like AR platform rifles.
English stock shotguns vs what I will call American style shotguns vs full blown pistol grip shotguns could all be used but again preference. Most hunting rifles, you don't get a PG option. |

I held one, and it just seems right. More control.

I had the Remington Shur-Shot stock on an 11-87 deer gun. I liked it a lot.
