Stock for Savage .17hmr

I have a savage 93 in 17 hmr non heavy barrel, and I am thinking of getting a new stock for it. I mainly use it for paper punching so weight isn't too big of a deal, I just want it to fit right. Who make good aftermarket stocks for the non heavy barrel models?

Thanks

boydsgunstocks.com has Savage 93 stocks. Not sure about the barrel dimension given. You can contact them on the website.

I put my savage 93 in 17 hmr "heavy" barrel in a Boyd's Thumb-Hole stock. You'll need to buy a Mark II trigger guard. They tell you you need either a longer or shorter screw, have forgotten which, for the trigger guard. Mine didn't need it. I used the new trigger guard and the old screws fit perfectly. New screw was either too long or short. The barreled action will drop right in.

I have a 93r17 heavy barrel and I didn't want the wood stock so I called up savage and $48.00 shipped and two weeks later I had my synthetic stock. Unscrew the old, and screwed in the new. Seriously that easy

I bought one with the synthetic stock and heavy barrel - then ordered a laminated thumbhole stock and stainless steel furniture from Savage.
